The European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) carries out a number of different activities. From conducting independent, socio-economic research, in the areas of economic, labour market, social policy and industrial relations for the European Trade Union movement to coordinating, developing and participating in cross-border networks of researchers, research bodies and universities; The Etui analyse, educate and inform workers and organisations about labour in its global form accross Europe. After years of conducting diverse communication actions without a strong visual identity, they needed a system adaptable to all their sectors, flexible enough yet simple to use.
Simplify the signal to inform with impact
By downsizing the institution signal to a bold logotype, all communication applications are simplified to a typographic system allowing multiple use while still recognisable as a family. Many new applications have also been developped, from new magazines to give-away identity elements.
